Simon's Town (Afrikaans: Simonstad), sometimes spelled Simonstown, is a town near Cape Town, South Africa, which is home to the South African Navy. It is located on the shores of False Bay, on the eastern side of the Cape Peninsula. For more than two centuries it has been a naval base and harbour (first for the Royal Navy and now the South African Navy). The town is named after Simon van der Stel, an early governor of the Cape Colony.

On the 14 th of march we had the great pleasure of meeting up with Caley for a dsicovery of Capetian foods. Well, we discovered way more , we truly discovered how beautifull the local people of Capetown are. Caley was polite, well versed in the subject of food and general info about her beloved city, and had a great sense of humor. We had the most memorable day and just fell in love with the Mother city...

The creatures of Cape Town's tidal pools are cryptic and many of them well camoflaged. Also many are endemic to South Africa or the Cape. Because of my experience, I know what to look for and where - and this is what I'd like to share. I bring what you're looking at in the water into 3D focus.
Inclusions: Use of Snorkelling equipment, Happy snaps

We spent a few days in Cape Town, however we would have missed so much if we didnt do this tour. Our guide not only took us to interesting places but he knew so much about each place and you could tell he really has a passion for Cape Town, its history and its people. Table Mountain was a big tick off the bucket list and our guide knew the perfect time for us to go in order to avoid the crazy long lines we had heard of. The best view of Cape Down is from way up in the clouds and we loved every part of the day !
