A highly recommended destination and tour. Our guide, Sergio, was great. He brought the 2,000 year old artifacts to life with knowledge, charm and enthusiasm. We also appreciated his flexibility, accomodating a last minute change in timing when we were delayed in departing from Palermo.

We love Noto. This was our second visit however this time we went for the Christmas holidays. The weather was temperate and comfortable and the tourists were at a minimum. Good for us! It is such a charming and manageable town. We elected to stay right in town to minimize car travel and that was the best decision. Great restaurants and of course, Cafe Sicilia for almond granita. Easy side trips to Siracusa, Modica and Ragusa too.

We used this company for a week-long trip to Sicily, including airport transfers, hotel transfers between Taormina, Siracusa, and Ragusa, and a few site and winery tours. The driving service was excellent---on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Both Francesco and Luciano were wonderful. We booked a few specialized tours on our own and those turned out to be better than the tours we booked through this company. I think guides can be hit or miss---Mila in Siracusa was wonderful and Teresa in Agrigento was on her telephone the entire time she was with us. The wineries they booked for us were also hit and miss---Murgo on Etna had great wines but we arrived an hour early and had to stand around in the rain, and the biodynamic winery in Noto (Cantina Marilina) had great food but wines that were largely undrinkable. There was also a problem with our chocolate tasting tour in Modica so we missed the laboratory visit. But I can't fault the company for the guides or the wineries, really. They are basically an excellent chauffeur service, and we can wholly recommend using them as a driving service. Their professionalism and courtesy made our holiday stress-free and, given the opportunity, we would book them again.

I recently had the pleadure of attending one of Fulvio's fabulous lunches here in the heart of Palermo. A glorious day spent exploring the markets for local healthy delicious food. Fulvio knew all the best places to buy the finest cheese. The finest vegetables, meat and wines. Once we had finished af the market we brought all the ingredients back to his welcoming and comfortable home and began cooking lunch. Fulvio is a fantastic guide and cook and under his supervision we prepared a starter of stuffed artichoke filled with garlic and a wonderful local green vegetable similar to spinach. Oil and lemon on top. Delicious. We cooked frittata and ate some perfectly cooked cauliflower. We then prepared a very sicilian pasta dish with cauliflower, raisins and breadcrumbs. Then we ate fish with a chilli garlic and lemon dressing. Divine.. we finished our meal off with tiramisu and some fine italian liquers and coffee. There was an abundance of wine and a delightful group of tourists from berlin, australia and siberia. The day was relaxed and sociable and very enjoyable. We were regaled with tales of sicilian life and Fulvio was the perfect host keeping us entertained and well fed and our wine glasses topped up. Highly recommend this course as a great introduction to sicilian cooking and getting to know a little more about the culture of this amazing city. Thank you Fulvio
