This review is long overdue! We visited Croatia in May of 2019 for our annual wedding Anniversary trip. We used Four Seasons to plan our 7 day tour of Croatia in which we visited Hvar, Split and Dubrovnik. Four Seasons arranged EVERY detail of our trip - transportation, hotel reservations, excursions and even several meals! We were fortunate enough to have Igor as our guide and driver, and he was AMAZING. From the moment he picked us up at the airport, we knew we were in for a treat. Igor took such great care of us throughout our trip and he was such a pleasant addition to our trip. Some highlights of the amazing service we experienced with Four Seasons: - private dinner arranged for our anniversary at a winery - private transportation to all of our destinations in Mercedes vans - arranged meals and reservations at restaurants (we loved every suggestion, some of the best food ever)! - arranged all excursions and even ferry tickets I am a corporate event planner that has planned events all over the world. This was the first time I let go of the reigns and used a travel agency to plan our vacation --- and it was the BEST decision ever. Four Seasons made it so easy that all we had to do was get on the plane and once we landed they took it from there. I cannot suggest this company enough, thank you Igor and team for an amazing experience!

Zadar is a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage, a city of tourism, festivals and fun. The particularity of the city is irrestible for those who respect and admire historical monuments and cultural heritage, for artist, tourists and its citizens. It is surrounded by historical ramparts, a treasury of the archaeological and monumental riches of ancient and medieval times but it also has many contemporary arhitectural achievements such as the first Sea organ in the world. We booked a private Plitvice National Park tour from Split from Pelican Tour. The booking process was easy, you pick the tour, the date, and you pay right there on the website with credit card. There can be a maximum of 8 people in your group for private tour in one car, and the price is very reasonable and even comparable to if you joined group tours, depending on how many people you have. The driver, Bojan, contacted us the day before to confirm pickup location and time. On the day of the tour he showed up on time and he was friendly and professional. It took less than 4 hours to arrive Plitvice and the car ride was clean and comfortable. Make sure you break for restroom before getting out of the freeway, when there are still resting areas. It was difficult finding one near the park, and there’s long lines for restrooms at the park. We met our guide at park entrance, where we also purchased tickets. To our pleasant surprise we could pay by credit card for the tickets; the website said cash only. Our tour guide Nikolai (sorry if I misspelled) accompanied us for the tour and he was very friendly and knowledgeable, also great at taking pictures. He discussed with us on the route we will be taking and if we are interested to do certain trails. It worked out well and of course the park was magnificent especially with fall colors. The park is a must see if you are in Croatia. We also had a little time for lunch right inside the park before continuing on. The walk is not difficult and at our own pace. It was relaxing and we didn’t feel rushed. Make sure to let your guide know if there are certain place you want to see early on so he can plan it. There was this signature view you see on many postcards we wanted to see but it wasn’t on the route we were on, and it was too late when we realized it. The route he took us on was still amazing and he felt it was a better way to see the park. After four hours we were taken back to our driver; there were quite a bit of stairs going up in this last walk to exit. We arrived our hotel round 6pm. The park was so beautiful and ideally we would want to spend more time, but we feel four hours walk is just the right amount of time for people like us who are not especially sporty. Overall a great company and great tour if you have to visit Plitvice from Split.
