The biggest display of decorative metalwork in the UK. Featuring live work from the some of the best artists and blacksmiths in the country. The Centre created the world renowned "Spoon Gorilla" made from over 40,000 donated spoons, as seen on the BBC. The Centre was officially opened to visitors in 2014 by HRH Prince Michael of Kent. Donations are welcome for Hope House Children's Hospice. Most recent projects include the "Knife Angel" made from over 100,000 weapons which have been removed from the streets of the United Kingdom, working with national police forces, families affected by knife crime and community action groups to ensure people think twice before carrying a blade.
Wow! What a hidden gem in the countryside. Beautiful backdrop to the outside sculptures which you can hire a buggy and go around if you don't fancy walking. The inside sculptures are placed all over, dont forget to look up too! Great Christmas area for gifts and the tea room entices you with the smells of fresh coffee and warm scones when you walk in. Fantastic place to visit, I will be back for more... plenty of parking, very friendly and informative team of staff with a selection of outside garden pots and ornaments for sale so you can take something home too.

Welcome to our beautiful paint your own pottery studio in the heart of Whitchurch, Shropshire. Dropped in on this little gem hoping to be able to spend some time painting pottery. We had a lovely friendly welcome and although it was quite full and we hadn’t booked they were able to accommodate us. I had my little boy with us who is not yet ready for a high chair but this wasn’t a problem at all! After ‘parking’ the pram downstairs we settled in upstairs and there was a lovely baby swing which we were able to use. A lovely touch and allowed me to have my hands free and for him to enjoy a swing! We had a fab time relaxing whilst painting our chosen pottery and enjoying a cuppa. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this lovely place for a great time with family and friends and especially children. They are so accommodating and go out of their way to help you. However I would suggest booking if you want a specific time or at busy periods.

Independent gallery showcasing the work of artists from Shropshire and the bordering counties. We display hand made leather bags, ceramics, glass, wood, original and limited edition prints, solid silver handmade jewellery, enamels, felt work as well as a selection of cards. We pride ourselves in knowing the artists and being able to tell you how the work is made and what inspired the artist to make the piece. Come and pay us a visit and enjoy our gallery where everything is really 'handmade'.

This market hall was recommended to us by the proprietor of our B&B and she was right to do so. A very interesting collection of independent market stall offering produce from your standard fruit and veg , Asian and Indian street food and plenty of different arts and crafts stalls. All undercover over two floors it was interesting to wander here for a while.

Independent family shippers of estate wines, since 1842.
A truly wonderful experience. Wines and spirits on sale from under £8 a bottle to over £400 a bottle. Apart from the shop at the front, go around the back to the cellar that houses most of the wines and spirits. It has a Dickensian atmosphere about it. You can indulge in tasting various wines and they also have a small museum (or rather a collection of old implements). A definite must to visit for the wine enthusiast.

We make and sell all natural soaps and skincare in store. Try any of our products, speak to the people who make them and find out about our natural and fairtraded ingredients.
Love all the products I've had from here. The owners are very helpful and obliging. The delivery service has been excellent even since lockdown. Today I have opened my recently purchased Tea Tree and Neem hand wash and as described hands felt really clean and soft. I cannot live without the foot soak. My best wishes for their future in this difficult time. They can be certain of my continuing custom.
