Our bar & shop are open 6 days a week for you to enjoy a drink and take away some beers. Our bar is lovely and cosy with a wood burner for when it’s cold. A large viewing window lets you take a peek into the brewery and distillery and watch us in action on brewing days. For those warmer days we have plenty of spaced out seating among our cider apple trees in our pretty orchard, where you can enjoy sampling from our range of drinks produced on site. We produce a variety of beers, from rich porters or easy drinking session bitters to crisp refreshing pilsners and IPA’s. We press our own Sweeney Mountain Ciders and also have Henstone Distillery gins, and other spirits. We also offer wine, cocktails and soft drinks. Food available from 12pm - 7pm Wednesday - Saturday from our very own BBQ & smoker. BBQ chicken; burgers; pizzas & lighter options. Dogs and children are very welcome. A trip to Oswestry is not complete until you’ve visited us!
I've been a fan of the Stonehouse Ales for a number of years but this was the first time we've spent an evening on site with friends. Wonderful ale, cider and spirits at a genuinely decent price as you'd expect as you're drinking "at source". Good choice of big hearty food again at a reasonable price. Staff are very friendly, located in a wonderful rural setting and clearly attracts a "decent crowd". Not many better places to spend an evening with friends. Recommended

what a delightful present we received, a trip to Hobson Breweries visitor centre. Not knowing exactly what to expect other than a tour of this small local brewery we were delighted with the experience. The staff of this family owned brewery were very welcoming. There is a quaint quirky but smart bar and lounge where we were given pints and pints of delicious ale and then told about each one. All quite different but all very palatable. While this was happening delicious smells were coming from the behind the bar kitchen. The staff of Csuns restaurant another part of the family business were making us a delicious meal all ale based. The food was delicious washed down by the ale. Then we were given a tour of the brewery which was really interesting. This is a small local brewery using as much organic local produce in the making of the ale and the restaurant meal. The whole evening was fun, entertaining and well worth a visit. We will visit again and look out for Hobson ale in our pubs. Next visit is to Csons restaurant in Shrewsbury.

The UK's Oldest Licensed Brewery (1642) in the heart of the Shropshire Hills. Producing outstanding traditional ale for thousands of customers.
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Steve the head brewer. It was fascinating and I learned so much! Tasting ale now has a whole new angle, knowing the process from beginning to end. This is still very traditional and was such fun. If you are a fan of three tuns ale, this is a MUST. Be prepared to climb up and down very steep stairs. It’s fantastic that you get to see where this fabulous ale is still made. Steve really knows his stuff and he had us all amazed at his flair for brewing ( and how he came to be doing this old age craft) Thankyou so much for your time Steve, it made our trip to Bishops Castle complete. Can’t wait to return and drink all the lovely brews that I know so much about now.

The Pheasant Pub and Brewhouse reopened in May 2014 after being taken over by the Ironbridge Brewery which is now located in the beer garden and re-named the Wrekin Brewing Company. Currently food is served 11am until 4pm Monday - Saturday with no food being served on a Sunday.
what a great pub. Regularly visit here and no matter what time or what day you go it always has a fantastic atmosphere. A variety of ages, no TV's no load music just good drink and good company. Everyone is friendly. difficult to get a seat sometimes but people come and go all the time and most people offer to share tables. They do a great pork pie and a great meat and cheese platter. Staff always friendly and there selection of real ales and Gins are amazing. no other pub in Shropshire compares. although you don't see many kids they are very welcome and are often bought by grandparents

Church Stretton’s first micropub, opened in November 2017 and offering a chang8ng range of cask beers (including local favourites) plus 40 bottles and cans from Britain and Belgium. We also stock a small selection of gins, whiskies and soft drinks. We serve a choice of snacks including local pork pies.
Popped in here for an early drink following a long day walking. I tried the beer tapas where you can choose three different beers, It was pretty quiet however thats not a problem for us. We returned later in the evening following our evening meal for nightcap drinks. Nice place and friendly staff would go again.
