Gondwana Coast Fossil Walk

Reviewed By 993anitat - Forster, Australia

We were visiting the wonderful little Fossil House when the friendly staff member told us about the geological time walk on the north side of Ulladulla Harbour. For every metre you walk you journey through 2 million years of geology of the area. Not too much information to read and the displays of rocks really help to tell the story.

Drawing Room Rocks

Reviewed By TMacintyre - Wanniassa, Australia

Great short walk near Berry & Kangaroo Valley, 3km's return, depending on fitness level about 1hr return. There are some moderate uphill sections but the walk is generally easy. The track is clearly defined and fun walking underneath the sub-tropical canopy. The views over the Illawarra are spectacular, along with the unique rock formations. Keep kids and dogs on leash there are severe drop-offs at the top.

Cambewarra Mountain Lookout

Reviewed By Beat5rixSydney - Sydney, Australia

Cambewarra Lookout is on the summit of the Cambewarra Range approx 15 km from Berry. What an amazing panorama of Shoalhaven area from Mount Coolangatta down to the Pigeon House mountain inland from Ulladulla including views to Jervis Bay. The view is truly breath taking, you can either sit on a lovely grassy area, or sit on the terrace of the delicious coffee shop, eating breakfast, brunch or lunch. Another bonus are the birds, beautiful colourful birds, such as King parrots and many others. If you are lucky you could also spot an eagle!

Jim Wilds Oyster Service

Located on the foreshore of the Crookhaven River. Jim Wild's Oysters is a small family owned and operated Oyster Farm which was established in 1979. We are a working oyster farm and process all our oysters on site so you can watch us at work. Visitors can enjoy freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters or Pacific (when available) by the water or to take home. We also stock Fresh Australian Prawns. We are always up for a chat about our local Oyster Industry so come down and say G-day to Jim, Robyn or Sally.

Worth the trip. Freshly shucked oysters and grilled oysters. Even with the world going crazy around us it was still a fantastic experience. Had a cosy spot in the sun by the riverbank to enjoy great friendly service and tasty oysters (and prawns). Wish we had thought to bring a bottle of wine as its BYO only.

What a surprise! In the midst of the glorious unspoiled scenery of Kangaroo Valley, we encountered a bridge with Victorian Gothic Revival crenellated turrets made of sandstone. Worth seeing, if only for the shock value.

Ulladulla Harbour

Reviewed By Jackyboy230

We had a very good time at Ulladulla and were very exited to see the seal and other amazing attractions that Ulladulla has to offer. My favourite part about Ulladulla is the Harbor it has a large seal which is very interesting to watch he likes to lay down and look at the spectators. The Harbor is Crystal clear you can see the boats coming in and out among the fish and pelicans swimming around. The boat ramp does need a bit refurbishment but Ulladulla is a very fun and exiting place to bring your family and friends
