Ino-cho Paper Museum opened in1985 with the purpose of promoting “Tosa Washi”.At the museum we exhibit the history and culture of washi, its raw materials and its tools. We have Washi demonstrations, papermaking program and retail shop.We also offer a place for cultural activities on occasion we also hold international and local exhibitions.

This is an excellent place to learn more about the art of washi Japanese paper making. This area has long been known as a center of production and this museum is the town of Ino's main visitor attraction. Good description of the long process of making the paper from start to finish and an opportunity to make your own washi paper souvenir postcards. There is also some really good stuff in the gift shop - excellent souvenirs!
