Great facility where children and adults can have fun together through 'seeing, 'experiencing', 'learning' and 'eating'. Enjoy a relaxing walk through the beautiful garden in harmony with its natural surroundings and satisfy your appetite at an authentic buffet-styled restaurant, barbecue restaurant, and cafe. You can also enjoy making crafts or bread at our workshops. "Shaun the Sheep Farm garden", the new spot where "Shaun the Sheep" is brought to life in the real world, has opened on the hillside of Rosa & Berry Tawada!

You can enjoy the terrace of Lake Biwa with a magnificent view overlooking Lake Biwa, Japan's elevation of 1,100 meters, north-south panorama. Attractions such as Skywalker and Zip Line are also available (reservation required). It is famous as the closest ski resort in the Kansai area.
For ski or snowboard, Biwako Valley Resort offer everything you need. You can rent almost everything like jacket (in a wide range of colour and size), pants, googles, boots, snowboard, skis, pole, hamlet at the Rental Centre off the carpark. You need to bring your own groves and wooly hat. There is no Rental Centre at the top of the mountain. Make sure you rent everything you need before you take the ropeway to the top. Some of the Japanese staffs at Rental Centre can speak English and they are very helpful.
