Located in the south of China, the cityscape--Shenzhen-- is home to some of the most modern buildings worldwide. Although this area is largely industrial, it offers many tourist attractions, such as the Chinese folk Culture Village, Safari Park, and beach resorts. Perhaps one of the most frequented tourist attractions is Window of the World, which offers replicas of the Eiffel tower, the pyramids, and Taj Mahal.

This is one of Shenzhen’s gems and is not to be missed. There are traveling exhibits from across the country, fascinating historical displays, and interactive media presentations about both China’s and Shenzhen’s history.

I visited this venue because they were doing a collaboration with the V&A London for product design classics. The venue is fantastic in terms of its architecture. The show itself was very interesting and well curated. But if the show was not interesting, the visit to this gallery would not have been worthwhile.
