Things to do in Shanghai, Shanghai Region: The Best Traveler Resources

May 18, 2021 Marianna Hollaway

The largest city in China is also its most cosmopolitan, offering visitors a chance to experience the past, present, and future all at once. The Huangpu River splits Shanghai into two districts: Pudong and Puxi. The Pudong skyline looks like it was ripped from the Jetsons, with the bulbous Oriental Pearl TV and Radio Tower looking a bit like a two headed lollipop. On the Puxi side, you can walk the Bund riverside district to get a taste of old Shanghai.

Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC)

It was a great show this year, just couple of weeks ago. Not a very big show and not a very small show. Lot of Exhibitors, mostly domestic. Highlight of the show was Seafood Tasting session from Norwegian Seafood Pavilion. Norway dominated the show this year with a huge pavilion of their own and pavilion from different partners. Excellent Show with free flow Seafood and Hot Pot tasting for three days for all visitors and exhibitors. Hall N1 was the home for all domestic Hot Pot vendors from Sichuan, Chongqing and other places.
