My husband & I love to do wine tasting but having a toddler makes it difficult. We stumbled upon mountain mist farm winery & loved it. It was nice one of us could walk around the property with our son to keep him interested. This isn’t a commercialized winery like you’ll find on the main drag. Great wines, all made with fruit grown in their farm. The wine is $14.95/bottle. We bought 6, so John gave us $1.50/bottle off. They also offer jams, jelly’s & butter with fruit either grown on their farm or in the county. They were all $5.95 for 19-20oz. Jar. The biggest thing to know is they don’t take credit card! Check or cash only, so come prepared.

The collection consists of more than 20,000 Salt and Pepper Shakers from all over the world. A labor of love of collecting for more than 30 years. See the amazing variety of animals, vegetables, people and other colorful shapes, and the creativity of all the artists that created them. Great fun for all ages!
What a nice way to see a collection like none ever to be duplicated, 30,000 diffferent styled salt and pepper shakers! I was surprised how artistic they can be and wanted most of them for my home! Extremely resonable entry fee, probably the lowes in Gatlinburg and a fun time, especially if it is hot outside or rainy. The gift shop will satisfy your needs for a set or two, great gifts as well! Try it, worth an hour of your time. They allowed our 75 lb service dog and all of us had fun!

What a treat to find this place. I came across this on Google and made a point to stop on our way into town for a vacation and so happy we did. It's beautiful. You don't find many covered bridges nowadays and this made for some beautiful photos.
