Memorial Museum of the Russian poet Viktor Bokov is located in his family home, where he was born, where he grew up and where he wrote his first poems. This museum has information about the story of the poet’s life and his creation. In the museum, you can see the life story of Russian peasants in late 19th century. Among the oldest buildings of Sergiyev Posad first place is won, undoubtedly, by the museum complex «Konny Dvor». Located in one of the most picturesque corners of the city, on the bank of the «White pond», it is carried to number of the major architectural monuments of Sergiyev Posad long ago. The stables were built in 1790-1791 "kvadratno on 20 sazhens" in the form of the closed caret of one-storey cases with four round towers on corners and a rectangular tower over the southern gate. Contemporaries compared appearance of the «Konny Dvor» with "monastyrky", settled down near huge fortifications of great Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra. Now expositions and funds of open storage of the Sergiyevo-Posadsky state historical art museum in which the most interesting exhibits representing history of edge and Trinity-Sergius Lavra, the Russian folk art and modern arts and crafts are placed are developed in the restored buildings of the «Konny Dvor». The «Konny Dvor» are open for visit and wait for guests.
