Seoul is the business and cultural hub of South Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. The teahouses and shops of Insadong give you a taste of Korean flavor, which you can further experience with a visit to the grounds and museums of Gyeongbokgung. UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung Palace is a fine example of authentic ancient architecture.

You may call it hype, marketing, commercialized space... I call it, a patch of beautiful nature called PARK If you have the time, GO Autumn is the best time to go when the grass turns pink and the leaves are yellow. The path is already an adventure with the different sounds that tingle your senses The signage around about wild creatures make you appreciate their respect for nature and the natural habitat of animals Some say it is nice to go on foot instead of riding the buggy... I think paying 3,000 Won is better then perhaps fulfilling your step while at the top moving from one section to the other is much better. Make sure to take a drink with you because you will want to sit in one of the huts with a cold drink on hand (and maybe some snacks) -DONT FORGET THE SUNSCREEN!

The park is very beautiful and provides excellent opportunity for walking or jogging since it is stretched along the old railway. In the heart of a lovely Hongdae district it is surrounded by many lovely restaurants, cafes and fashion shops. Lots of old buildings nearby have been transformed into creative spaces. Wonderful and relaxing atmosphere and good infrastructure - public restrooms, picnic spots and benches are available throughout the entire route.
