Things to do in Seoul, South Korea: The Best Movie & TV Tours

August 16, 2021 Joeann Galban

Seoul is the business and cultural hub of South Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. The teahouses and shops of Insadong give you a taste of Korean flavor, which you can further experience with a visit to the grounds and museums of Gyeongbokgung. UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung Palace is a fine example of authentic ancient architecture.

Very interesting and thought-provoking. It must be exhausting for North Korea to keep up this ruse for almost 70 years. Although Covid 19 has put a damper on the DMZ tours, our guide made the best of it. She was well prepared with tickets, directions, and instructions.

Our tour guide was incredible. We really enjoyed learning and visiting this part of Korea. It was eye opening and a day I will never forget. Getting to go in the tunnel was exhilarating and definitely an amazing experience. The lunch was delicious and our tour guide even helped us make some phone calls to attend a video game competition.

The tour guide was not needed if we were given a map of the theme park. I was looking forward to looking at the Winery but oh what a disappointment, Just a few empty barrels and at the end of the short walk through the walk way to the wine bar. No free samples and certainly did not have a french feel with a picture of St Marks Square Italy. Would have liked to look around the gardens but was hurried to the next cable car to the the top to the theme park not impressed. I had high hopes for this trip but felt let down., More toilet stops on the way there would have been good due to medication I struggled. More for families. Disney land and still building work being carried out. Would advise not to go but go to and spend more time at Hue, I did like the views on the cable cars going up and down.

If you have limited time but take a look at places where BTS visited, this tour is perfect for you. After meeting your guide, heading to Hwarangdae Station where RM took pictures. Stand the same spot with RM and take your own as if you are RM! Seoul Forest is famous for locals but also famous for A.R.M.Ys because SUGA took a music video trailer in this park! Also, find the RM bench and take some proof shot for Instagram! Next, heading to BigHig Entertainment's old building and retrace BTS! You can still see some scribbles other fans wrote. For lunch, have a lunch at Yoojung Sikdang at your expense. Yoojung Sikdang was BTS's favorite restaurant when they are trainees. Bangtan Jungsik(black pork and stone pot bibimbap) is the most famous menu in this restaurant. After lunch, go to Yeonnam-dong near Hongik Univ. station. Yeonnam Basement Walkways will look familiar as RM took the pictures at the in front of the entrance. Your last stop will be Line Friends Store or the dance studio.
