Our shuttle bus dropped us across from this modern looking building complex. One building looks like a volcano and is the concert hall. The other one that looks like a flying saucer is the library. The complex was designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, and is an eye catching landmark in Le Havre. I fell in love with this multimedia library, so spacious and comfortable; the furniture in the children’s section is so adorable. The adult section has different areas for books, audios and videos. You can spend all day there to read, listen to music or talks and watch videos. Even their introduction video was well made. At the Volcano, because it was summer time there were no concerts. But the visitor information is there. The staff was helpful and friendly. Even if you don’t need information, just go there to take a look. Highly Recommended. Happy Travelling!
