Sedalia, Missouri is a city located about 30 miles (48 km) south of the Missouri River in Pettis County. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 21,387. As the county seat of Pettis County, it is the principal city of the Sedalia Micropolitan Statistical Area, which consists of Pettis County. Sedalia is also the location of the Missouri State Fair and the Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival. U.S. Routes 50 and 65 intersect in the city.

RAKS Escape Room is a locally owned business located in Sedalia, Missouri's Historic District. It offers two escape room scenarios, Mad Scientist and Lost Teddy, that are both challenging and fun. It's a perfect get-together activity with friends, coworkers or family on almost any kind of occasion! *Lost Teddy is highly recommended for groups with children 7 years or older.
We were in town for a 4H event and decided to try to escape the Mad Scientist's lab. Everything was so clean, elaborate and very challenging. This was an amazing experience that we will never forget. Such a bonding experience! You won't regret spending time here!
