Sitting at a roofed terrace and looking out at the vast River Elbe and the passing enormous cargo and container ships whilst eating delicious local cuisine is a unique experience. A special feature is the welcome salute given to arriving ships, boomed out over a big tannoy in German and English accompanied by the national anthem of the ship identified by it's flag.

The Seebruicke is well maintained, stretches far into the waters, and offers excellent views and opportunities for picture tacking. A nice place to take a walk after eating at one of the nearby restaurants (Johannsens is our favorite!).
