Located in the Andaman Sea, this is Thailand’s largest marine park that is a popular area for outdoor naturalists, snorkelers and scuba divers.
Koh Tarutao Marine National Park is one of Thailand’s most exquisite, unspoiled regions – and our boat made a short stop there before proceeding to Koh Lipe. The island looked killing – we reached there in 1 h and were only 30 min away from Koh Lipe – we were all excited for how Koh Lipe would look like. The beach also has the immigration check point. It is for people coming down from Langkawi, Malaysia, which is only 30 min away from Lipe.

Archipel Around Koh Lipe
Koh Adang is part of the national park of Tarutao. There are beautiful and quiet beaches with good snorkeling. You can also walk to the view point (50 minutes) where you can see a beautiful view on Koh Lipe. it’s a quite steep path so go there with shoes ( no flip flop) You can go there from Koh Lipe by taxi boat ( 10 minutes, 100 baht) just for a day or even sleep there in The camp site or in the bungalows managed by the rangers. There’s nothing on the island ( no bar, no shops) except it’s natural and wild beauty. It’s a wonderful and quiet place. i strongly recommend to go there if you are planning to stay in Koh Lipe.

wow! when we board from the boat and cant imagine the water so clear that can see the rock under water and the rock is so shiny and so beautiful , and my friends don want to leave here and make him want to stay at this island for longer time. when we sit down on top of the rock is so comfort and nice. cant even find a little sand on this rock. just that now government wont let tourist stack the stone anymore. we feel a bit wasted. but we still feel so happy .
