Aslings Beach Boardwalk

Reviewed By J3792NBlindab - Chittaway Bay, Australia

A lovrly boardwalk right next to the beach for either walking or riding your bike. Also is close to Reflections Caravan Park which in my opinion is the best CP in Eden.

Ben Boyd Tower

Reviewed By SydneyJim56 - Green Point, Australia

Great to see that the tower survived the fires last year. The surrounding area is regrowing slowly. Good sealed road in and only a short walk from the car park (toilet nearby). Well worth the $8 park fee from National Parks which also covered our entry to drive into Green Cape Lighthouse.

Disaster Bay Lookout

A great spot for stunning views across Wonboyn Beach or quiet contemplation. Tip: visit on the way back from Green Cape so you don’t have to turn across traffic! Highly recommended.

Montreal Goldfield

I thoroughly enjoyed Montreal Goldfield, the entire site is run by volunteers who do an amazing job conserving the unique history of one of only two Southern Hemisphere beach side gold finds. Learn about the rectangular shape of the pits, the mystery that gave Mystery Bay its name, methods of mining, the geology that led to gold being deposited and if you are lucky you may get to try dowsing! Take cash with you to pay the entry which goes toward maintaining the site. It was only $7 when I was there in 2021. If you are in the Bermagui area then it is well worth stopping in.

Light to Light Walk

This is a 30km one way hiking track along the magnificent south NSW coastline starting at Boyd Tower - a failed lighthouse - going to Green Cape LIghthouse - a working lighthouse off Disaster Bay.

Light to Light Walk run by Sapphire Coast Guiding Company is an experience I have no hesitation in recommending. The scenery is beautiful, the guides are passionate, knowledgeable, professional and best of all, they are great humans. Staying at Greencape Lighthouse was a special treat. The location is beautiful and wild, the accomodation itself was extremely comfortable. The catering provided by this team was impossible to fault. All the food was fresh and of superior quality. Local produce was a particularly enjoyable feature. Nothing was too much trouble for Sapphire Coast Guiding Company, I would sincerely recommend our experience and any others offered by this team.

Green Cape Lighthouse

Reviewed By 4_Aussies_inOz - Sydney, Australia

This was our first stop on a day trip from Eden, visiting the main local highlights by car. An easy, albeit slow, drive to the lighthouse was met with a good-sized car park and well preserved site. We took time to walk around the lighthouse, out onto Green Cape and then out and around Ly-we-moon Cemetery. This is a place to take some pretty stunning photographs - the lighthouse is quite immense, the coastline is rugged and spectacular... lots of coastal plants & wildlife too! Don’t forget to stop at City Rock and Disaster Bay Lookout - but be prepared for some real 4WD conditions to access these two locations!

The Pinnacles

This little circuit walk is well worth the drive! The money shot opens up near the end of the loop (travelling clockwise) with a stunning layered earth vista dipping into aqua-coloured water. Lots of big ant mounds for the kids to look at also. The walk is mostly flat and suitable for all ages. Highly recommended!

An easy walk on board pathway way with some steps takes you to the homestead which you view from a distance Continue on the pathway to a lovely beach, would be a beautiful spot for a picnic and play in the water We really enjoyed seeing a couple of dolphins in the bay A lovely quiet place to visit Access is via unsealed road
