Even if you’ve never been to this Cyclades island in the Aegean Sea, you’d still recognize it immediately – candy-colored houses carved into cliffs, sapphire waters, gleaming white buildings topped with half-spheres the color of a stormy sky. Here you’ll find peace as you roam the black sand beaches or the streets of a provincial village like Imerovigli. Beautiful Oia is world famous for its sunsets, which seem tinted with every shade of an artist’s palette.

Unique variety of fine art photography and jewelry, all astonishingly handmade by local artists. The gallery has a very harmonic atmosphere in an elegant cave house located only a few steps before the Castle and the famous sunset spot in Oia.
Small and kinda hidden shop just next to the famous Oia's castle, with great art gems. You can find rare, beautiful gold designs of jewellery and fine photography. Def a must visit for gallery lovers.

I happened to stroll by Eduart Gjopalaj's exquisite woodsculpting studio in 2017 while in Santorini. The extraordinary craftsmanship of his work was so memorable that 3 years later I contacted him through Instagram and commissioned a piece from him (the piece I saw and loved in 2017 had been sold). Eduart was delighted to help and my piece arrived this week. It will be displayed in a place of honor in my home. I hope to someday go back to his studio and meet him personally. A rare talent and terrific human being.

We have relocated to Megalochori, Santorini - SYMPOSION by La Ponta Symposion's programming is centered in Greek mythology's timeless relevance to life as it is lived today. Inspired by the nine muses, guests are offered a total experience of the arts, encompassing every detail—from the wine served in our Homeric Wine Cafe to the herbs planted in our Mythological Botanical Garden. Symposion presents La Ponta’s highly successful program of one-of-a-kind performances, workshops and innovative interactive tours for adults and children, catering to both the local community and to the global traveler on the island of Santorini.
We had an enchanted break at Symposion in Megalochori. Everything is beauty and harmony in this plant and mineral setting. It was a pleasure talking with Yannis, owner of this place, and we had the incredible chance to be musicians for a little concert. A wonderful experience!

Using finds from various excavations, this museum traces the course of prehistoric Thira from the late Neolithic to the late Cycladic I period.

We were so glad we made it to this monastery. The roads were crazy, with hairpin twists and turns and we wondered if it had been a good decision. There was plenty of parking when we arrived; it wasn't too crowded and it was just lovely. The beauty and peacefulness wrapped itself around you and you just gave a deep sigh being there! The chapel was very small but beautiful! We wandered around taking in the tranquility and the aesthetics. It was one of our favorite places on Santorini!
