My fav place to go with kids rainy day. I have annual pass for last three years there - do I need to say more how I like this place? The first floor is free for visitors, by the way. Makerplace there deserves a mention - a digital creativity lab for teenagers. They can do a t-shirts prints there, laser cuts, 3d printing - FREE of charge. Adults have to pay for materials.

Touch, try out and understand Leonardo da Vinci's marvellous inventions. The exhibition consists of 30 models made according to Leonardo's own drawings. Here you can see and try the bicycle that he constructed in the 15th century, 400 years before the velociped - a bicycle far more primitive than Leonardo's - became the new rage. See Archimedes' water screw that lifts water from one level to another, test your engineering skills and build the famous bridge that Leonardo designed. The exhibition also includes a parachute and a hang glider, and a whole line of models that show his inventive ways of exploiting human muscle power. A fun and rewarding experience for the whole family.
Science centre and mathematics exhibition in Abelloftet Ever heard about sinus, cosine, tangents and old Pythagoras? A visit to the exhibition, We all count, gives you a new perspective on mathematics. Here are many fascinating interactive exhibits, mathematical puzzles and historical counting systems. See if you can answer some of the peculiar questions: How many people can you fit into a cubic metre? Can you ride a bicycle with square wheels? This is a wonderful opportunity for visitors both young and old to see mathematics in practice! Abelloftet is named after the famous Norwegian mathematician, Niels Henrik Abel. .
