San Salvador de Jujuy (Spanish pronunciation: [san salβaˈðor ðe xuˈxui̯]), commonly known as Jujuy and locally often referred to as San Salvador, is the capital city of Jujuy Province in northwest Argentina. Also, it is the seat of the Doctor Manuel Belgrano Department. It lies near the southern end of the Humahuaca Canyon where wooded hills meet the lowlands.

Nick is a great guide and really has lots of local knowledge, highly recommended. This is a tough hike but well worth the effort with some great views.

It is all very nice but the best is Pumamarca. Spare a couple of days to stay there and explore and enjoy that amaizing place. El Tren de la Nubes was a deception. Very good organization but they don’t have a policy to return the money to somebody who gave a 3 days in advance cancelation. You will not enter the clouds, it’s just a name and crossing a 150 feet bridge is ........

This amazing full day guided excursion is by far one of the most impressive and complete tours you will ever do. Travel through the best part of the Puna, doing by truck the Train to the clouds trip up to San Antonio de Los Cobres. This tour is also very complete because you will see part of the Humahuaca Gorge, the amazing "Cuesta del Lipán", the 7 colors hill, Purmamarca and of course the great salt flats.

Great attention, we had to re schedule twice our transfer to and from the airport due to airline's issues and they were quick to give a solution. Martin and Omar are great guides, very knowledgaeble and funny. From now onwards Nordic is my way to discover the north.

Go with a good appetite, so many variety of meats, take just a little so you can make it to the end! Loved the lamb, filet mignon, garlic beef the best. Even saved room for dessert and left feeling very satisfied

A wonderful city with old buildings and narrow streets. It invites us to travel to the past. I went with my family and we really enjoy the trip, We knew its historic neighborhood, its museums, the Portuguese and Spanish colonial buildings. We also visited the Colonia del Sacramento lighthouse which is surrounded by the ruins of a convent and has panoramic views.

My group of 14 people visited with the local family for a great dinner and empanada cooking session. everyone enjoyed the opportunity to try many of the local dishes and to even make one. the hosts were fantastic. as this was our first day in Argentina and it set the tone for the reminder of the trip.
