Stopped off here on an afternoon whilst in San Antonio for a business trip in Dec 2019. as it was a chance to try out shooting handguns the way that they're supposed to be shot and not the 24" UK-legal comedy variants. It's important to note that this gun club is open to the public irrespective of whether you have a gun licence. Staff were very welcoming from the off and, after watching an induction video and going through the necessary disclaimers, we got onto the range - ~12 lanes of around 100ft each with a target that could be set at different distances electronically. Rental was around $15 per handgun ($25 for AR15s etc) and ammo on top. Yes and ears cost a few $ as did the targets. Finally there's a $25 range fee ($12.50 for each subsequent person). Cost can easily escalate, particularly if you're having a good time, so some self restraint is necessary unless you're John Rambo. The whole experience was excellent - so much so that I returned for a further visit a few days later. It's located about 10mins outside of the city centre which cost around $20 by Uber to get there. If you want to try shooting or just see what it's like to fire a 'real' handgun, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

A Place to Shoot is San Antonio's largest outdoor shooting range and complete gun store. We are located just 13 miles south of down town. We offer pistol, rifle, shotgun and archery ranges. We also offer rentals on pistols, rifles and shot guns. We have over 72 different rifle lanes, 23 pistol lanes, skeet, trap, crazy quail and country doubles for the shotguns. Our rental program is perfect for first time shooters and those looking to have a great shooting experience. We are also a fully stocked gun store with almost any firearm accessory you could need. If we don't have it we can get it!

Bullet Hole gun range offers shooting for pistol, rifle and shotgun. Private rental bays are available. Machine gun rentals and standard gun rentals available. Shoot the 50 Caliber BMG! We offer a great time for all shooters with a one stop for everything shooting!
