Giovanni and his team created a wonderful experience for my clients on retreat in Puglia. Learning to make pasta by hand and then being served the most delicious lunch was a highlight. More so the way Giovanni took care of us was so personal, we got an authentic Italian experience with a local Italian! He made us all feel very at home , this added value he especially for my American clients who were visiting Puglia for the first time. The day takes place visiting two wineries: in each we will taste 3 or more selected wines ("NO entry level wines") Furthermore, my tours always have a convenient organized and private transfer, with their own insurance, which will allow you to taste the wines without worrying about having to drive. IMPORTANT: I always accompany my guests personally throughout the day and, as a professional sommelier, I am available for technical and non-technical information. During the experience we will visit historical and traditional companies while during transfers between one winery and another, I will have the pleasure of telling you the history of the wine of my region; in this way you will be able to appreciate the visits in the cellar, understanding how the Apulian wines were born and evolved. I visited and selected numerous wineries throughout Puglia and chose very small wineries often run by families, historic wineries or even cellars with an attached wine museum.

Excellent tour. We visited two wineries that were very different - which was a great contrast. Learned a lot about the history of wines in the region and the types of grapes they use. We were also lucky because we were able to taste reserve wines at these wineries. Would highly recommend for anyone interested in learning/trying local wines. Andrea really went all out to ensure a great experience!

The host cancelled as they didn’t accept bookings of one, they messaged me to tell me it had been cancelled and they would process it that day. I had been in contact again on Tuesday asking when they would cancel it as it was still showing as completed. It’s now Thursday still haven’t received confirmation it has been cancelled. Unsure if this is an issue with Trip Advisor or the operator, however it has not been a delightful experience.
