PROVANS with Veronica and Nicolas is among the greatest tours we'd been. They extended their efforts to work with our schedule, picked us up at our hotel, then we had a terrific day through the Provencal countryside. We are looking forward to joining other tours by them in our next trip to the area. Or, even better is to arrange a bespoke itinerary out of the usual spots. Highly recommended!

My sister and I booked the Monaco/Côte d'Azur tour which also included a stop in the beautiful medieval city of Eze and a tour of the Fragonard Perfumery. All in all we discovered Nice, Monaco (including a lunch stop in Monte-Carlo as per our request), Eze/Fragonard Perfumery, and Cannes in one day, without ever feeling rushed or like we had missed an opportunity. Silvio was a wonderful guide, his local knowledge excellent and his recommendations (such as to try a traditional treat in Nice) much appreciated. His driving was also terrific, which is important to note because we were in the car for a good portion of the day. We honestly had such a great experience and cannot recommend this tour or Silvio enough!

We had a lovely day going around the region, visiting wineries and tasting (a lot of) wine. We had a top notch guide (ask for Nicolas) who taught us so much about wine in the cote du rhone. He answered all of our questions and was very entertaining and helpful all day long. We visited two wineries in the morning, had lunch at a picturesque castle and two more wineries in the afternoon. In between, our guide gave us lots of information on wine and the region in general. You will get plenty of wine during the tastings. There is no pressure to buy although you can if you want to (you will probably want to :)) Highly recommend if you appreciate wine and want to lear more about wine in this region.

Nicholas was a warm, knowledgeable and personable host who took us to some fantastic gems in the region. He knew the special spots and how to get much more out of an experience than an uninformed tourist. Very soon we were chatting about all sorts of things beyond Provence and having a great time. He allowed us to take some unplanned options such as a wine tasting and even finished with a 'final surprise' visit. We highly recommend this tour!

3 1/2 stars. We drove around Salut for 5 - 6 hours looking for lavender fields. I was disappointed we did not visit Roussillon. On Tripadvisor’s itinerary “Roussillon: Stop 45 minutes” was written, so I expected we would go both Roussillon and Gordes then spend time on lavender fields, but it was different. Since it’s August, we didn’t visit Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque, neither. It’s good the guide was knowledgeable and knew so much about the lavender.
