Saint Paul has been called the last city of the East primarily because early developers built it to fit Eastern standards: city squares or parks, towers and turrets, lofty arches, Baroque domes and elaborate adornments abound. Ideal for families and those who like to explore on foot, the capital of Minnesota offers big city attractions with small town manageability. It's an easy and scenic stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River from the Children's Museum to the Science Museum. The kids (and the young at heart) will love them both. Nearby are the grandiose State Capitol, designed by esteemed architect Cass Gilbert and the historic Como Park, which includes lovely picnic areas, a zoo and a conservatory. Also in the mix are modern museums, stately old mansions, interesting natural wonders and unique shops to browse around. Be sure to check out the stellar collection of contemporary works by local artists at the Minnesota Museum of American Art. From four-star luxury to affordable and family-friendly, Saint Paul offers a variety of lodging and dining possibilities making it a great destination for all tastes and budgets.

We provide Flying Trapeze classes for all ages (6+) and abilities. No experience or upper body strength required! Classes are 90 minutes in length and our goal is for you to make a mid-air connection (or "catch") with our staff at the end of your very first session. Beautiful ergonomic contemporary vibe. Baseball is only part of the entertainment; there is something happening before the game, between every half-inning, and after the game. The announcers are hilarious. "(The opposing batter) has two strikes,.....(wait for it)...and NO BALLS!!" Great family fun. We like it more than going to a Twins game. Come early to hear live music outside the stadium. Inside the stadium, there is a nice variety of foods and drinks--from basic hotdogs and budweiser to gourmet selections and craft beers--a few cuts above traditional ballpark fare.

I won this experience in a silent auction - and I am so glad we went!! A group of four, we connected with a random group of 6, and we worked together very well! We had so much fun - the room was challenging enough to keep us engaged but not too hard that we needed too many hints. Customer service was great, and we will almost definitely be back - what a great experience.

Locks, locks and secret passages... Your team of 4-10 players are locked in a fully themed room with two goals; collect the hidden asset and escape the room before time runs out! To complete your mission you will need your wits, teamwork & a lot of critical thinking.
Super fun experience, the room was really well constructed and had a ton of fun puzzles to solve. It was a pleasure working with our guide Austin who aided in our escape, and overall completion of the mission. Not too many hints, but you're never stuck with nothing to do.

FlannelJax's is Minnesota's newest Axe Throwing and Recreational Sports experience. Grab your friends, coworkers and your best plaid shirt and experience the excitement of urban axe throwing and the thrill of victory. FlannelJax's offers a variety of competitive social games designed to let you throw down with a group of any size.
My husband and I took our adult children to give Axe throwing a try, we did the one hour time block that worked great for our group of 6. Todd was very helpful making the reservations, Ben our Lumberjack was great we had a lot of fun, we played boys against the girls and girls lost so I guess we will have to go back for a rematch.

Located in historic Como Park, this popular zoo, especially known for its California sea lion exhibit, also features a great cat display, gorillas and giraffes.
Como Park is always a great place to visit. I always enjoy walking through the conservatory and seeing what flowers are in the sunken garden or what’s currently flowering. The zoo is fun as well, although weekends in the summer get crowded. The seal harbor is currently under construction, so if you go soon, you won’t see the Sparky Show. It looks like it will be beautiful when the new Seal Harbor is finished so be sure to check it out!
