Safed (Hebrew: צְפַת Tsfat, Ashkenazi: Tzfas, Biblical: Ṣ'fath; Arabic: صفد, Ṣafad) is a city in the Northern District of Israel. Located at an elevation of 900 metres (2,953 ft), Safed is the highest city in the Galilee and in Israel. Due to its high elevation, Safed experiences warm summers and cold, often snowy, winters.

We are an art gallery in the center of the Tzfat Israel Artist Colony. We sell original paintings, drawings, sculptures, fine art prints, posters, t-shirts, and more! The art gallery features the art of (married couple) Yom Tov Blumenthal & Elinor Bracha Blumenthal. Yom Tov's art is quite surreal with a Jewish twist, while Elinor's art expresses the true gentle beauty of Israel. You can see the gallery website to read their biographies. Yom Tov Art Gallery is also know as "Weapons & Puppies"! What started just as a joke by Yom Tov, has turned into an advertising phenomenon. Weapons And Puppies has become one of the Yom Tov Art Galleries trademarks and logos, and now is officially the alternate gallery name.

On a recent trip to Israel I discovered the charming village of Safed, full of art galleries and cozy corners. I purchased a painting which I fell in love with, at Olive Tree Fine Art Gallery and they arranged air-shipment to Spain in less than a week. Thanks for an excellent service, I´d love to come back.

There is so much to see in Tzfat that is beautiful. That being said Sara’s Tent is the gallery I return to again and again. The art sings with creativity and beauty. There is so much that pleases the eye and the soul. The owners are also great to work with. They send promptly and help in so many ways. The jewelry is breathtaking. Of all the galleries, Sara’s Tent stands out. You will have a hard time deciding what should come home with you. I look at a painting I bought almost three years ago. Not a day goes by when I dont look at it and feel incredible joy. Have fun!!!

Come see the amazing art of live glass blowing! Professional artist, Sheva Chaya utilizes glassblowing demonstrations and her lively watercolor paintings to inspire and delight your senses. Whilst demonstrating glass blowing, she also touches on inspiring mystical concepts which form a basis for her work. Bring your family or group (up to 50 people!) for an inspirational and fascinating glassblowing demonstration! It is best to call or email in advance to set an appointment for a demo! Small and large group presentation topics include: The Kabbalah of Glassblowing, The Precious Land of Israel, Expressionist Watercolor, and Women's Wisdom.
I didn't know a lot about glassblowing before coming here, but thought that it would be fascinating to learn more about it, especially in a place that knows so much about it and makes such beautiful glasswork. They walked us through the process and showed us how to make different pieces of glass art, and the final artwork is so breathtakingly beautiful that I was afraid to touch anything.

When I first walked into the Gallery and met Moshe, he immediately took me back to see the Chagalls and, even more impressively, truly emotive, exquisite sculptures by Holocaust survivor Nicky Imber, whose uncle Naftali Herz Imber wrote "Hatikva," the National Anthem of Israel. The depth of emotion evoked by these pieces speaks to the hearts of anyone wishing to overcome the pain of the past and look to the hope (hatikva) of the future. A limited number of sculptures were cast and the proceeds go to mentor young Israeli artists. Beyond the Imbers and Chagalls, the gallery is filled with exciting and beautiful works--large and small--from local Tsfat artists.

This is my favorite place to shop in all of Israel both for myself and for gifts. They have the best art, jewelry, and judaica designers. Every time I visit I can't help but buy another piece to add to my collection. The prices reflect the quality and craftsmanship that go into each piece. I also love visiting and catching up with the artist and her family, they are really wonderful people. I highly recommend this gallery!

Contemporary Kabbalah paintings by Tzfat artist Avraham Loewenthal. Avraham moved to Israel over 20 years ago from Michigan. He lives with his wife and children in the Old City Artist Quarter of Tzfat, where he studies the spiritual learning of the Kabbalah and paints. Avraham’s extremely inspirational artwork expresses universal spiritual concepts of the Kabbalah. The Tzfat Gallery of Mystical Art is Avraham’s gallery and work studio. It is located in the center of the Old City Artist Quarter of Tzfat. Avraham meets with travellers and groups visiting Tzfat to discuss the paintings and the concepts of the Kabbalah which inspire his work. Avraham’s paintings are enjoyed throughout the world. Groups visiting Tzfat are welcome to come for an “Introduction to Kabbalah through Art” presentation. Many visitors have expressed that this presentation was one of the highlights of their trip in Israel. Please reserve a time for your group in advance.
