We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day discover Borneo tour with My Holiday 2. It exceeded our expectations and everyday was a new experience. We liked that we were in a small group of 9 people. A huge thank you to our guide Elod for his knowledge and kind hospitality. We would highly recommend him to visitors. We didn't want our holiday to end and in fact our whole group stayed on with Elod for the last 2 days of the optional tours. We were not disappointed with all the wildlife we saw at the Orangutan rehabilitation centre, Sun Bear Conservation Centre, Turtle Islands National Park, Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary and along the river cruises of Kinabatangan River. The hospitality at the accommodations were very friendly and the meals delicious.

We decided to book a sunset cruise and decided on a Star Marina cruise. This is a must do tour when in Kota Kinabalu. Great way to see the beautiful sunset of the coast of Sabah on the water. Fantastic service, great selection of wines and for extra the free flowing Veuve champagne is worth doing. The crew on the cruise were knowledgeable and very hospitable. The sunset itself was stunning and the boat ride was superb. Definitely worth doing!! Thank you to the team who looked after us so well. ????

Coral Flyer

The Coral Flyer is the longest Island to Island Zipline in the World. It is located in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and stretches between Gaya and Sapi Island. It has two lines allowing riders to go down in pairs and reaches speeds of up to 65kmh! Safety is top priority and you stop using the high-tech ZipStop braking system from the USA. This is the tourist attraction of the decade in KK.

Ticket can be purchase at Sapi Island. You will then be ferried over to Gaya Island where the guide will meet up with you at the jetty. After wearing the safety harness and helmet, you will then proceed with a few minutes of hiking up to the spot. For those intending to get the footage of the zip line, best to have a body strap for your camera. It all seems so fast but the scenery is so beautiful!

From Jesselton point take ferry to Sapi island and transfer to nearby island for Zip line. If didn’t pre book tour activities at Jesselton point can look for local tour guides hopping in the islands who can make arrangements at little extra price. Coral flyer provide Zip line activities flying between islands. It’s just a few minutes ride over ocean waters. It’s highly secure and fun. On return you can see Komodo dragons crawling by the beach. Must try!
