Runcorn is an industrial town and cargo port in Halton, Cheshire, England, and in the southeast of the Liverpool City Region. Its population in 2011 was 61,789. The town is on the southern bank of the River Mersey, where the estuary narrows to form the Runcorn Gap. Directly to the north across the River Mersey is the town of Widnes. Upstream and 8 miles (12.9 km) to the northeast is the town of Warrington, and downstream 16 miles (26 km) to the west is the city of Liverpool.

The new owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly. They have done such a great job bringing the pub back to life. The food, service and atmosphere is great. Such a lovely visit on a Sunday afternoon.

A 500,000sq.ft shopping centre localted in the heart of Runcorn. It has been serving the local community for over 45 years and is home to 60 national and independent retail names.
I found this Center has a lot to offer I personally have always found what I needed in it! Good quality bedside lockers? sorted! A new hat for a wedding? sorted! new dress Sorted! nice scarves and gloves? sorted! Hairpiece? sorted! Branded Perfume at knock down price? sorted! An unusual gift? sorted from "THE BOX" which has some very nice affordable goods! A stylish new holder for my nieces mobile? sorted! Household items? sorted! Something unusual in a handbag? sorted! brilliant stand in the middle of the centre! Beautiful flowers? sorted! I love this centre and there are lots of independent retailers here along with the larger well know store plus chemists, opticians, Hair Salons, beauty salon, several little cafes with a good one in the library! newsagents and plenty of free parking try it! You may be surprised at what you find and it is spacious and airy so moving around is comfortable!
