April 3, 2022 Weston Hennigan

Rome wasn't built in a day--and you'll need much more than a day to take in this timeless city. The city is a real-life collage of piazzas, open-air markets, and astonishing historic sites. Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, contemplate the Colosseum and the Pantheon, and sample a perfect espresso or gelato before spending an afternoon shopping at the Campo de’Fiori or Via Veneto. Enjoy some of the most memorable meals of your life here, too, from fresh pasta to succulent fried artichokes or a tender oxtail stew.

Teatro Argot Studio

WHO The Argot Studio, located in Rome in the Center of Trastevere district, represents one of the most important strategic areas for the diffusion of the contemporary world. It was established in 1984 under the artistic direction of Maurizio Panici ‐creator and founder- who will handle up to 2008 and that after a year of coaching, will leave the management to a shared artistic direction: Francesco Frangipane, Francesco Giuffre and Tiziano Panici. MISSION Argot Theatre has always had the vocation to be a space open to the possibility of thinking about the theater and doing it on the field, a careful observation on the new drama - Italian and international - and a new generation of actors that has helped to change and renew the way of doing theater. A house and a real factory where test a fruitful artistic confrontation and interaction between dramatic writing and group of actors and directors that sets the scene. An “important” gym for young actors and directors where the success or the failure of a show are immediate and obvious. Today the two young directors Francesco Frangipane and Tiziano Panici, at the top of the Argot Theatre from 2008, continue to manage the space following the path traced by Maurizio Panici, its founder, with the intention to renew itself each year. In 2013 Argot he began his collaboration with the Orologio’s Theatre giving life to Public Domain, first experiment of Joint Season.
