We booked them for the overnight desert experience including the camel riding which was such amazing trip! We came on our own car from Marrakech to Merzouga, where we met Mohamed and went over and beyond his duties to ensure that we all feel safe and comfortable. We left our car in safe parking, have the camel ride for more than one-hour, tried sandboarding, and had the overnight in a luxury desert camp. We shared many stories with our guide answering all our questions and had fun around the camp-fire. I highly recommend this desert experience!

We did a 6 day trip starting in Marrakech and finishing in Casablanca. I definitely recommend booking with Morocco Soul Tours. Communication was great from the start as it took some time to tailor the trip to everything we wanted to do. Youssef was our driver and guide and he was fantastic and had a great knowledge of Morocco. We got to stay a night in the Sahara and had a local guide show us around Fes. We booked our own hotels though as found that it was cheaper that way. The car was clean, safe, and comfortable. Overall, recommend booking with them. It is difficult to hit all of the spots on your own given the size of the country and how far places are from each other. You need a car to get around, and recommend a driver that knows the area.

Wonderful experience! I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with this group. My guide was absolutely fabulous, knowledgeable and very thoughtful. The driver was careful and very attentive to the group I was traveling with. If I could give 10 stars, I would. While on this trip in March of 2020, we got caught in Covid lockdown. Our driver and guide were very quick to act and got us back from the desert to Marrakesh in time for the first day of curfew. For something that could’ve been quite scary and alarming, it was a very positive experience.

The 4-day desert tour is comfortable especially the night in Sahara Desert. The tent has bathroom and shower with hot water. You can ride the camel across the desert and go into the campsite. My best friend and I were originally supposed to take another tour with another company, which fell through at the last minute. Talk about fortuitous!!! We could not have been happier with the tour and especially our driver Omar! Wow. Omar was so very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. And what a sense of humor! He geared the entire trip around what we wanted to do, and would stop anywhere we wanted to stop (“ooooh Omar- what’s that?” “Would you like to stop?”) My friend and I (we are both American) ended up taking the tour with a Russian couple and by the second day it felt as though all 5 of us had already been friends who decided to go on road trip together. The places we were scheduled to stop were beautiful, safe and friendly. The night at the Berber village was fantastic, where we took a desert camel ride at sunset and then another the next morning (don’t let “camel trek” scare you off. It’s not much time spent on the camel) at night there were drums and singing by firelight, with about 10 other travelers from different treks. And let me tell you I have never seen stars like the ones I saw in the Sahara. I didn’t want to even blink so as to soak up every moment. If you are in Fes and on your way to Marrakech, this is the way to do it. This company also does other routes so check in with them if that’s not your exact direction. Whichever way you go, take your time and soak up as much of the local culture as possible. If you’re a shy traveler, it’s a great way to meet other travelers and really learn about and get a feel for local flavor. Its very affordable and if you are lucky enough to get Omar as your driver, any questions you may have will be answered with aplomb. Can you tell I cannot say enough good things about Omar? He really made sh*t happen. One more tip: if you are planning on renting a car and driving in Morocco, I would advise against it as a foreigner, especially if you do not speak Arabic. I was planning on driving myself from Marrakech to Chefchaouen and cancelled the car reservation upon arrival to Marrakech after seeing how many police checkpoints there are throughout Morocco. Having a government sanctioned/licensed tour company like this one is your best and safest way to go, with far less hassle from the police. Have fun and I hope you enjoy Morocco as much as we did!

If anyone reading this review is undecided about whether or not to do a tour to the desert in Morocco, I urge you to just do! And do it with Said and Atlas private tours! We are a family with 2 teenagers and although they found the days of driving long, in the end they both say it was so worth it. The ride on the camels and camping out in the desert was definitely an amazing experience. From the 1st email that I sent inquiring about the 3 day tour from Fez to Marrakech , I was greeted with professionalism. Moha answered all my emails very quickly and made me feel very sure that everything would be taken care of. And, it definitely was. Said was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable (answer ig all our questions about Morroco, it's people, the desert, everything!) and even had a good sense of humour. I am very thankful that we did this tour. I feel that our trip to Morroco was so much richer because we did! Highly recommended .

We booked a 3 day tour to the Sahara , We are two girls and felt extremely safe the entire time.we have the most incredible stay in morocco due to this tour it was completely over our expectations ! Jamal our tour guide and Omar, our driver were the best! They were both so nice and were so informative explaining all the sights along the way. All the towns we passed through were so beautiful but my favourite part of the whole trip was the desert. We went to Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi Dunes and got to spend a night in tents in the Sahara Desert! We got to ride a camel to the desert camp and that was the funnest experience. All the riads we stayed in and the restaurants were fabulous choices. I highly recommend booking a tour with this company MCL . Jamal was so helpful in planning the whole experience and was always readily available on whats app. We truly cannot wait to go back to Morocco.
