Dzintari Concert Hall since its foundation in 1936 is a performing arts centre of Jurmala and one of the busiest concert halls in Latvia. Since The Small Hall reopening after reconstruction, the centre has presented more than 600 performances, drawing an audience of 800'000 visitors. This architectural icon houses world high-class performances. Its two main venues are the 550-seat Small Concert Hall and an open air summer Large Hall with a capacity of 2'100. Programming is guided by its mission – to entertain, engage, educate and inspire. Riga Circus is a multifunctional arts centre, that deliberately works towards offering relevant and current circus shows to wider audiences, as well as promotes development and availability of circus arts in Latvia and the Baltics. The building was closed until September 2018, but currently is open for multitude of cultural events. Very soon the building will undergo a major renovation, therefore now is the moment to experience the historic ambience of this place. It is also home for Riga Circus School, where adults and kids can experience fun and developing leisure circus activities.
