University located in Providence.
Although not comparable to nearby Harvard, this is nonetheless a beautiful campus. Buildings are fine old brick structures reminiscent of the old world. The fence bordering the main heart of campus is a thing of beauty in itself, and bears dates which commemorate events and persons integral to the founding and early years of Brown U. The Brown family home can be seen close by and modest by present presidential mansions of other universities. Take the time to venture out to visit this sprawling campus.

Designed to promote the local arts community and offer accessible arts and education programs for local residents.
yes, this a true Art location inside an old historic courthouse made of Stone. They have a lot of different great events including many music events that are just outstanding. A lot of the events are posted outside by the entrance. Or just go inside and get an up to date list of What is going on. Tickets are reasonable prices and they have a limited amount of refreshments. It funds other art and education programs which we should all keep going anyway.A great cause to keep the arts in the area going ...You can go online to see what events are going on or are coming in the near future. We even years ago went to a New Years event here and it was a lot of fun.

The Biomes Center is New England's only private marine education facility and the most hands-on aquarium in the region. We've been providing interactive marine biology programs for schools and families since 1989. We specialize in teaching children and adults about the marine animals of Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. We offer public hours, special events, classes, field trips, in-class programs, and birthday parties.
Went to a birthday party at Center and it was wonderful. The person who did the tour/demo for the kids was fantastic and took his time to explain about the fish and turtles over and over again, the kids were 7! Would highly recommend it as there is plenty to see and plenty to do.
