Reykjavik bears the distinction of being the world’s northernmost capital, and for many Icelandic visitors it also serves as a gateway to the rugged adventure options beyond. Recharge after outdoor pursuits in one of the many geothermal springs or luxurious indoor spas. We appreciate Reykjavik’s open-minded and energetic culture that includes a hip and internationally recognized music and arts scene, great food and notoriously "enthusiastic" nightlife.

Take a tour of the Old Harbour in Reykjavik, and end with a tour of one of Iceland's best craft breweries. Knowledgeable and entertaining guides tell you about the area, share stories and folklore and give you an insight into the Icelandic craft beer scene. This is a free tour unlike any other. You get a fun walk, an informative insight into the brewing scene, and of course you end the tour at the brewery's tap room! We start the tour from the red clock by Tommi's Burger Joint, at the start of the whale watching wharf. This one is not to be missed!

*BEST OF REYKJAVÍK: BEST NEWCOMER BAR 2018 - THE REYKJAVIK GRAPEVINE The bar of Nostra is a wonderful place to spend some time. With large windows, an airy, minimal space and artisan cocktails with homegrown ingredients, it’s more date place than dive bar. However, if you’re watching your pennies, they have a great happy hour that runs Tuesday-Saturday from 17:00 to 19:00, with cocktails at 1,500 ISK, non-alcoholic concoctions at 990 ISK, cut-price bottles of champagne, and wine or Stella Artois for under 1,000 ISK. If you’ve something to celebrate, or you want to feel fancy for the night, this is the place.
