The Creek flows along Brisbane’s south east boundary with Redland City Council. The Waterway serves as important wildlife corridor on the city’s fringe, for example you can spot an assortment of birds such as Herons, Ibis Egrets. The water catchment area covers 150 km² and is a great spot for fishing! We are located just twenty kilometers from Brisbane CBD by car, or you can take a train trip to Thorneside Railway Station, which is ~400m from the Boat Ramp. Nearby amenities include toilets, a small Shopping Centre and some local Cafes. . Meeting Location: Continue past Thorneside Railway Station to end of Ferry Road (Redlands Canoe Club Boat Ramp)

The night time experience with the cool breeze and beautiful night time lights across Southbank. It had been awhile since a took to a kayak, but as soon as I sat in, it felt right at home. There were 9 persons and we all had a fantastic time. A few doubles and a few singles. It was easy to navigate your way down the river to Southbank - we were all doing so well so we went a little further and there we rested up, took photos and had a great old chat. The guide was fantastic !! chatting to all kayakers and made sure we had a ball. The going back was a little tougher due to the tide going out but hey thats what kayaking is all about. A must do if your fit and want to see Brisbane by River and the night time just added more to it Thank you !!

We took the 4WD EcoTour with Dave and it was soo much fun! Dave took us around the island where we could not do it with our own vehicle. My girls aged (3 and 7) and my wife and myself spent the half day on Straddie with Dave. We were treated to a lot of knowledge about the island, as well as seeing all the glorious sites. I loved that we were able to access parts of the island that I would never have been able to with my own vehicle. We saw a lot of wildlife, swam in pristine waters and left with our bellies full. Thank you Dave for your wonderful hospitality.

This is a private tour ! These ‘jewels of Moreton Bay’ are known for their natural beauty, peaceful lifestyle and fascinating histories. They are also home to a vibrant arts community with many local artists drawing inspiration from their idyllic surroundings. Each of the islands are different and have their own energy and vibe. I want visitors to see the nature, to meet some of the local artists, and to experience each of the islands.
Inclusions: morning & afternoon tea provided with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, optional yoga / meditation on Lamb Island if time & interest

A great day out. We visited a bunch of places, from back yard pottery studio, to wood carving studio, to jewellery, art studio, a great and interesting variety of places and people. We walked the beach and some back roads. Brunch and lunch were delightful and the workshop was great fun. Definitely recommend this trip.

Great experience with lots of naturally beautiful scenery. Although it rained it didn’t really interfere with the experience and the tour guide has back up plans. Lots of learnings taught by the guide the entire trip. Plenty of amenities along the way. Highly recommend.
Come for a drive with me to the beautiful stradbroke island. Picking you up at your hotel destination we will go catch the ferry to stradbroke and have an enjoyable coffee on board whilst gazing at the wonderful shoreline. Our next stop will be a quick dip in the brown lake which is coloured because of the native tea trees that grow all around it. Next we will go to point lookout and stroll the manmade bridges along the foreshore of the beach where we can watch surfers and maybe catch a look at a whale or two. Last but definately not least we will drive to amity point to walk along the jetty and feed the pelicans :) This is a wonderful way to get in touch with nature and is a beautiful relaxing day :) Keep an eye out for kangaroos and koalas!

Tania our guide was great. It was my 60th and I was looking for a little company that offered great value for money and I got it. The wineries we went to had great wines and were very pretty. We even went to a little boutique distillery where we got to sample some interesting liqueurs. We didn't know exactly where we were going at the start but as it turned out two of our stops were on my bucket list to visit. We all had a fantastic time with heaps of laughs. COVID restrictions had been eased in Queensland recently and we just had to sanitise and sign in at each venue and that was great.
This self guided audio tour takes you around Coochiemudlo Island. The island appears uninhabited, sitting just off the seaboard of Greater Brisbane, but stroll through the 'Emerald Fringe' that hides this place and you'll discover why it's one of Australia's best kept secrets. Just one hour from Brisbane's central business district, sink your toes in the sands of iconic Morwong Beach, and share the slower pace of this special place. Island resident and local Heritage Society member David Paxton narrates this journey into Quandamooka country, where sites of ancient Aboriginal culture and tales of settlers and farmers are woven into the ongoing conversation to interpret and understand this unique landscape.
