We are a used book store primarily, but we do have events...open mikes, musical performances, movies, speakers, etc. We also gift everyone a book on their first visit to the store
I enjoy browsing this locally owned bookstore. They have used and new items with an excellent selection. The owners are very knowledgeable of their inventory and offer a free book for your first visit to the store. They sometimes have music and authors presenting.

In addition to information about local venues, the historic Red Wing train depot houses the RW Arts Association, complete with for-sale art and jewelry from local artists. Since Red Wing is my home town, I knew that Marjorie Vogel was the founder of the Arts Association, and the gallery at this venue bears her name.

Got an early start on my Christmas shopping. Being of Scandinavian descent, it seems there are always fun things to see in this shop. I left with some neat socks, kids books and Minnesota-themed dish cloths. Very fun shop!

Once the largest producer of stoneware in the country, Red Wing Stoneware and Pottery began in 1877, making crocks and jugs. As the country grew and changed, so did our company, creating vases, art pottery, and dinnerware.Today we fire up our salt glaze kiln to produce a full line of mugs, crocks, bakeware and kitchen pieces. Watch potters at the wheel creating our wares, and shop our pottery salesroom, gift shop, candy store, and coffee shop. Our stoneware factory (four miles north) offers weekday tours of the zinc glaze process that produces vintage stoneware with the iconic red wing.
We visited many of the stores in the building. The boutiques have some nice things to choose. The antique has row after row of all kinds of things - all displayed neatly. Was fun to meander and look. Hot outside but nice and cool in the large building. All the salespeople we met were very friendly, Many benches to stop and rest between shops. We had a fun time.

The house at Tower View is seeped in history. The architecture, the surrounding landscape, the beautiful sculpture garden located within the lush green estate all add to the Anderson Center's charms.
