Rawai is an off-the-beaten-path area of Phuket that attracts devotees of Muay Thai martial arts. Training centers here teach all levels, from absolute beginner to world champion. On the opposite end of the vacation spectrum, there’s the Phuket Seashell Museum, an immense collection of delicate specimens from around the world. A visit to the Sea Gypsy Village on the eastern end of Rawai Beach is a transformative experience.

This was our first visit to Phuket and The Nai Harn resort was highly recommended by our travel agent, Flight centre. We had a lovely & fantastic experience, the staff was very courteous and always willing to help and amazingly knew our names every time they met us. The facilities are excellent and location of resort is out of the world, right on the beach which is neat with nice waves and clear water. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choices and fabulous food quality. They even extended our stay for couple of hours to accomodate our flight. I will highly recommend this to anyone visiting Phuket. I really five star memorable experience.

Beautiful beach and when I go back to Phuket I hope its not full of tourists. The water is clear and with a mask and snorkel you can watch the fish. Its not a place to party but its a nice quiet spot to get away from the hordes of people at Patong. I would have liked to say something bad about the place so no one goes there but I can't.

Ao Sane Beach is a beautiful rocky beach north of Nai Harn on Phuket’s south west coast. To get there drive to Nai Harn Beach, go past all the hotels on your right and drive through the Nai Harn Hotel. Keep following the coastline up the hill for about a kilometer on the very narrow road and you will soon come to Ao Sane. There is parking at the top for cars and bikes can ride down the little steep road to another small parking area. The rustic family run Ao Sane restaurant is very reasonably priced for drinks and meals, sure it is a little bit more expensive than restaurants of similar quality but it is worth it for the great location. The few times we have eaten there, service has been friendly and our meals were very tasty. There are also very basic beach bungalows for hire which you can organise through the restaurant. It really is a beautiful spot to spend an afternoon swimming, snorkeling or just lazing around watching the old restaurant dog going for his regular swims to cool off. Ao Sane is actually 3 little beaches separated by rocks and the area is popular for snorkeling and diving during high season but during low season it is perfect with hardly any people.. This beach is perfect for families but wear reef/watershoes as some of the rocks in the water are very sharp.

We did a day tour around Rawai and the cape , stopped at a few beaches and picture points , lunch for seafood at RAWAI SEAFOOD RESTAURANT, this has to be one of the best places we have enjoyed fresh seafood from all around the world , we picked out fresh oysters , lobster, crab, tiger prawns and a whole sea bass fish. They cook it for you (in many different choices) it is also extremely well priced. The guy out the front grabbing our seafood was excellent , very informative, also telling us the best way to have the seafood cooked. This is a total must do in Phuket if you are a seafood lover !!!!

Hotel is located right on the beach. With high tide it is absolutely a stunning place. They have a really nice swimming pool area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is fantastic Food is good. You do need a motorcycle or car to get to attractions outside of the hotel.
