100% Grape-based spirits, distilled from wine produced 100% on site at Rappahannock Cellars. Currently offering Vodka, Gin, and several Brandies. Ultra-premium spirits made from grape (gluten free!) - "Pressed, Not Mashed" State law allows for the consumption of up to 3oz of spirits per person per day, so that allows for you to enjoy up to EITHER a tasting flight (1.5 oz of spirits) + a cocktail (1.5oz of spirits), or two cocktails (1.5oz of spirits each). Our tasting flight includes a sample each of our currently available spirits along with a mini cocktail made with each spirit. When you're done enjoying the spirit tastings and/or cocktails, walk across the entry to our Winery and explore our wines! Our distillery and winery are house in the same building, on the same floor - so when you enter Rappahannock Cellars, go left for the winery or right for Dida's Distillery. We hope to see you soon!
Been really looking forward to coming here. It did not disappoint. Ask for Tom, he will take you through everything and make sure you get the right drinks and the right taste. Highly recommend the brandy.

We love staying at Sharp Rock Vineyards in Sperryville, VA. The host Jim is friendly and very knowledgeable about local places to go and things to do. We have stayed there a few times and plan on returning. The wine, conversation and comfortable lodging keeps us coming back . The homemade muffins are delicious and the fresh fruit is wonderful. This year we stayed at the Carriage House and it was so charming. It was great to hike "Old Rag" and come back to the Carriage House and relax with a glass of wine.

Visited 6 local Virginia wineries while staying in Washington, Virginia. Gray Ghost was one of our favorites maybe because the Gray Ghost chardonnay was to die for.

We are delighted to be opening our outdoor seating areas, weather permitting, for whisky flights and cocktails in our beautiful riverside cocktail garden beginning May 30th! We have missed all of our friends, and look forward to seeing you. We will be following all mandated and best practice guidelines for staff and guest safety. We appreciate your support and patience as we navigate through each of the various re-opening phases. *NOTE: Tours on hold until further notice. This is where your new favorite whisky comes from! At Copper Fox Distillery we dedicate ourselves to making great American spirits by emphasizing a combination of innovation and tradition. We start from scratch, floor malting our locally grown barley, flavoring the grain with apple and cherry wood smoke, then aging with a progressive series of hand toasted wood chips in used bourbon barrels. All of our fine spirits are available for tasting and purchase at the distillery. We look forward to seeing you.
Great drink menu and whiskey flights! Service was amazing as were the workers. Dog friendly with treats and even soft bedding! Would highly recommend. Great laid back environment!

Nice facility, well kept and attractive, wine tasting was very good and they didn't even charge us (military). We had two glasses of a club members only red on the rooftop area listening to live music and even got to keep the glass (engraved with a large "R"), it was great.

We had a pleasant Indian lunch, with a six sample wine flight, from white to rose to red to rich dessert wine, up on the 2nd floor veranda overlooking a lovely scene. The staff were very thoughtful, and everything is very clean with outstanding social distancing.

Everyone's talking about Little Washington winery ... Tucked right into the sweet spot of Virginia wine country high on the edge of Shenandoah National Park at little Washington Virginia. It's home of 2 of the top rated wines in Virginia and Dirt Road Wine Tour. Every visit is completely different with the Little Washington Winery portfolio of wines + the most incredible wines you'll never find anywhere, typically sold off right on small farms in Virginia and beyond.
This gem is a must do! The setting is awesome on every aspect. Carl, Donna and staff are wonderful hosts and have created a beautiful venue for a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting and absolutely gorgeous scenery. Pack a bit of a lunch or buy a cheese plate there, buy a bottle of wine and take in the beauty of it all. Take one of the wine classes for a fun learning experience. I have taken the Wine Boot Camp multiple times, always bringing someone new and learning something new!

It had been two years since I visited this winery last and I was excited that their tasting room would finally be completed. Alas I was a month too early but I still had a great tasting. The owner and his wife were just as friendly as last time and the wines had changed up a bit. The whites were lovely again and the cheese bites with each of the wines (well 6 of the 8 ; the other two you get chocolate) were so yummy. The rose was a nice addition too. They have a new puppy who is still learning his manners (their old hound dog passed away). It was a great visit.
