Rajasthan (/ˈrɑːdʒəstæn/ Hindustani pronunciation: [raːdʒəsˈt̪ʰaːn] ( listen); literally, "Land of Kings") is India's largest state by area (342,239 square kilometres (132,139 sq mi) or 10.4% of India's total area). It is located on the north western side of the India, where it comprises most of the wide and inhospitable Thar Desert (also known as the "Rajasthan Desert" and "Great Indian Desert") and shares a border with the Pakistani provinces of Punjab to the northwest and Sindh to the west, along the Sutlej-Indus river valley. Elsewhere it is bordered by five other Indian states: Punjab to the north; Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to the northeast; Madhya Pradesh to the southeast; and Gujarat to the southwest.

By fortune we got to know Kukki Jr. through a friend. We decided on the spot to see the Bundi Palace together with him. It was the best thing we could do, as we were in company with a person who not only is familiar in detail with all the historical and religious facts, but also really loves to pass his knowledge on to eager tourists. We had a lot of fun too and saw and learned about Bundi so much more than we expected! Thank you Kukki for all the time you spent with us!

This ruinous palace makes a dramatic and extravagant backdrop behind and over the simple little town of Bundi, but climb up through deserted courtyards and bat infested galleries to discover hidden art. Beautiful wall paintings, some Chinese dating back hundreds of years adorn walls and ceilings of old royal apartments. Well worth the effort.

Zenana mahal is one of the last place while one visit the Mehrangarh Fort.. The place for Queens and their dasi..mens are not allowed in this place..their rooms with Jharokha..the terrace for their timepass..very charming n lively.. Zenana Mahal, the erstwhile royal abode of Jodhpur queens, is an integral part of the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. In the yesteryears, nearly two-third area of the fort was reserved for the zenana(women). One of the prominent courts dedicated to the Jodhpur queens was the Moti Mahal Chowk, which displays architectural splendour of the bygone era. A number of jharokhas (windows) with jali screens and bangaldar eaves can be seen in the three wings of this court.

Jagmandir Palace is a small two storied palace built in the centre of the Kishore Sagar Lake.To visit this attraction, one has to take a boat from a bridge in the Garden of Seven Wonders. The best time to go is in the evening, when the lake and palace are transformed into a wonderland, with the beautiful illuminations . The palace room is empty, and by taking the stairs to the top , one is rewarded with an ethereal view of the vicinity, with the city illuminations and the replica structures of the Seven Worlds dazzling us with their sheer beauty, particularly after dark.

Amazing stay with the best hospitality. We came to know many facts about the palace which is mentioned by The Prince Bhanwar Shivendra Singh. He is very soft spoken & humble. All staff members were very cooperative. Wish we could spend more days here & enjoy their hospitality. We will be sure to come back & stay here in the future Thank you Likham Singh for your great service & help.
From Amber Fort you have a wonderful view over the city. From the parking it's a short walk up the steep path to the entrance, which leads to a magnificent complex of palaces, halls, pavilions, gardens and temples built over a period of 125 years by successive rulers. The mirror palace gives you a few amazing picture opportunities.
