This was the biggest lie and scam that has ever happened to me. They lied straight to our face from the first line they spoke to us until the very end. Promised a snorkel tour, trip to the mayan ruins, and a nice "beach club" lunch. We received a glorified taxi ride; stuffed 6 people in a singular jeep and drove in the car for 5 hours with stops at tourist traps and staged "activities." The tequila factory they took us to was FAKE... they just import tequila to sell. The plants were dead, the displays were made out of plastic (creepy)...The "beach club" was DISGUSTING and filled with thieves trying to steal your things right in front of you and continue to lurk after you catch them! The food was made out of RUBBER. The water was muddy and smelly, unlike the other beaches on the island, and there were sharp rocks everywhere making it DANGEROUS to swim. Here's the kicker!! We wanted to go home early because we were shocked, and our tour guide made us TAXI home, claiming the jeep didn't HAVE GAS TO GO BACK. Every part of this day was horrible. I don't even know what we payed for... we saw nothing and were continuously lied to. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS TRAP.

We will travel on our electric scooters the wonderful beach of Costa Maya, we will stop to refresh ourselves in two different beach clubs, At the end of the tour we will return to our 100% Mexican beach club La Chilangaloense where you will eat authentic Tacos with handmade tortillas or you can try our variety of Fish , shirmp ,marlin and octopus Tostadas ! ( two pieces per person ) You will also have 1 hour of open bar to enjoy our mango margaritas, piÑa colada, mojitos or very cold local beer!
Inclusions: You can choose between our Tostadas and Tacos (2 pieces), 1 hour of open bar of our best mango margaritas, pina colada, mojitos and the best very cold local beer, Free pick Up!
Exclusions: Gratuities and tips!, Transportation back to the cruise, $ 8 dollars for a maximum of 4 people

On the cruise they offered us several excursions, we decided to look online for options and it was the best !! we found some very fun cooking classes and prepared a delicious fish ceviche.

So we were going to snorkel the public area and ended up here instead. So glad we decided to stop here. Snorkeling was great with easy access. They had great package deals for $20 including food, a drink, and snorkel equipment. Showers and changing rooms available, and the food ranged from not bad (garlic shrimp) to awesome (chicken quesadillas). The “local sales agents” were not overbearing, and I have never had colder beer served to me in my life. We have our own gear so we didn’t buy into the package, but we made sure to eat and drink our fill and tipped the awesome servers well (Alex was great). This trip was minus the kids, but both of us decided this is where we will teach the youngest two to snorkel as it is our favorite island activity and the snorkeling here was so easy. We hated to leave and wished we had found it earlier than our last day.
