Things to do in Quepos, Province of Puntarenas: The Best Food & Drink

February 10, 2022 Myesha Cogley

Quepos, a small town in Puntarenas province, is located on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast and is undoubtedly one of the best places in the world for big game sport fishing. However, Quepos also offers vacationers a wealth of other activities to do as well. The nearby plaza has many fine restaurants, art galleries and souvenir shops, most within a short walking distance of your beachfront vacation rental. Book an exhilarating canopy tour, go horseback riding, kayaking and rafting. Learn to surf or watch the surfers ride the waves; you’ll wonder at their athleticism.

Marcos Mena Viales

I began working in Food & Beverages at age fourteen. My mother obtained a special permission for me since I was underage and worked in a popular hotel as a dishwasher and cleaner. Little by little I began learning about the culinary arts. Fortunately I had the a great teacher and learned the techniques that started me off in my career as a chef. My greatest joy and satisfaction is to make my guests happy with everything I prepare. I love what I do and cooking is my passion. Enjoy!
