July 9, 2021 Darleen Reid

Quepos, a small town in Puntarenas province, is located on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast and is undoubtedly one of the best places in the world for big game sport fishing. However, Quepos also offers vacationers a wealth of other activities to do as well. The nearby plaza has many fine restaurants, art galleries and souvenir shops, most within a short walking distance of your beachfront vacation rental. Book an exhilarating canopy tour, go horseback riding, kayaking and rafting. Learn to surf or watch the surfers ride the waves; you’ll wonder at their athleticism.

El Rainmaker es una de las reservas más bellas del área pacifico central, donde encontramos una gran variedad de flora y fauna. Efrain’s Night Tour is a MUST DO and a top highlight of our time in Costa Rica. Efrain (our Guide and Owner), was by far the most talented at spotting and describing the local wildlife and we will never forget this experience. During our time we observed frogs, spiders, snakes, sloths, scorpions and other night creatures. Efrain is so passionate and has deep family ties to the preservation and conservation of the Manuel Antonio Park. The night tour was so good, we had to use Efrain again for the Manuel Antonio Walking Tour the very next day! He also has a knack for getting some amazing pictures through his telescope with your phone for some amazing memories!
