Queens is the most ethnically diverse area of its size on Earth, which means there's a little something for everyone. Chow down on Indian food, sit in on a traditional Irish pub music session, and dance the night away at a Puerto Rican nightclub, all of it located within a few subway stops. Queens is also the home of the Mets and the US Tennis Open, and the former home of the New York World's Fair, now Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, and Paramount Pictures, now the Museum of the Moving Image.

Single cut is a small craft brewery in Queens. Great beer and most excellent tacos. Worth the trip. We are IPA fans. Try the Conform or Be Cast out IPA. Wide range of sours, kolschs, Pilsners, etc. if you like beer, they have one for you. Nice atmosphere. Kids welcome. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Stopped by for a couple of beers (Miles From Nowhere and Humming Dragon). They're both IPAs and very similar actually. Hazy with a good hop bite. The MFN may have a better hop but the Humming Dragon has a spice that's good. Pick your poison!

Great brewery in Long Island City. The atmosphere is very cool and cozy. The staff is friendly and can suggest to you which beer to try. I have also noticed people coming in to buy six-packs of their beers to take away.

Twenty of us attended a 60th Birthday party for a dear friend who is a huge Met fan, at Mikkeller Brewing NYC and we had a grand time. The birthday boy's fiance decorated our party section with Met's colors and baseball paraphernalia. The brewery provided trays of ball park inspired foods: hot dogs, sliders, french fries and more. The food was good and service was excellent. With over 60 beers to choose from as well as cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic beverages there was more than something for everyone. Complimentary parking was available in lot G adjacent to the brewery (non-game day), Board games for adults and children were available.
