Queens is the most ethnically diverse area of its size on Earth, which means there's a little something for everyone. Chow down on Indian food, sit in on a traditional Irish pub music session, and dance the night away at a Puerto Rican nightclub, all of it located within a few subway stops. Queens is also the home of the Mets and the US Tennis Open, and the former home of the New York World's Fair, now Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, and Paramount Pictures, now the Museum of the Moving Image.

Join the crew at Monahan & Fitzgerald where we've been serving delicious, filling food and stout beer in Queens since 1987. Monahan & Fitzgerald's is a full-service, refined, Irish American pub. People enjoy our legs of lamb, corned beef & cabbage, filet minions, sheppard's pie, burger, and lobster rolls (during the summer). We also offer take-out, catering room for large parties, and large bar for watching the game.
My son recently started at college fairly near by so I have been exploring the area for places to go. Was told to try the Bayside area which I loved b and walked into this gem. I love Irish Pubs and have been to them all over the world and this one hits all the right notes. Friendly, comfortable, and our bartender Brian was a great guy who gave us awesome service and also offered some other tips about the area and some history of the establishment. I will be back soon

One of the best parts of this bar was our bartender Kerry who let us know about the history of the bar and area. He was sociable and made the experience more fun. There was live music by the fire in the back which was really cool, and the NBA All star game on the TVs in the main area. Drink selection was fantastic and the whole experience was awesome. We've since returned and will again and again. Awesome spot!
