Pwllheli Beach

What a beautiful place of earth this is! remote and clean and yet close to all amenities of the hustling and bustling little town of Pwllheli! Here you find both - blue flag beaches, excellent sailing waters, peace and quiet, family fun AND all this only a stroll away from shops and hospitality. What a fabulous experience!

Porth Iago

Cracking site right on the beach! Even though it is basic, with just a toilet block, it’s perfect! A beautiful private beach, and a snack van if you want a quick bite to eat or a drink. Ignore people moaning about having to pay. Most beaches have pay and display and this private land is no different. They could just refuse you and keep this to themselves (unless you walk), but for a small fee (£5 - Fistral beach is £12) you get to enjoy this wonderful gem of a place! We stayed the night in our van and awning for £15 which I think is very reasonable, and staff helpful and accommodating (including the angry farmer). We’ll be back for sure!!
