You will really have a learning experience you would not get from just any museum. Make sure you get a Foot Leonard Wood Day Pass before you go on post. There are several Museums and a Cave, too.

Please go and see this museum! No charge to get in, they close everyday at about 3:00! Go and see the relics and all the pictures! You will need at least three hours to see this place. They also have a very cool gift shop!

We arrived shortly before 3pm. They do a quick background check & take a photo.its a drive to museum. The history of the army corps of engineers is well explained, from each era of history. I wish I had time to see it all, it closes at 4

Although I love museums in general (yes, I am that sort of person), I was not expecting to enjoy the Ft. Leonard Wood Museum as much as I did. I had a lot of fun looking at all of the exhibits, especially my personal favourite, the section of the Berlin Wall.

The Uranus Sideshow Museum features oddities and historical pieces from Sideshows and Circuses of the past. At the entrance, you're greeted by Sideshow staff who are performers themselves such as Kat, the sword swallower. The magic shop is inside the entrance and visitors can pay to enter the museum to view more than 100 exhibits. The Museum features oddities such as two-headed animals, including our live two-headed turtle, historical sideshow pieces like Fiji Mermaids, and artifacts from famous sideshow performers in days gone by. There are live animals inside the sideshow like Arthur, our beautiful macaw, who occasionally delights visitors by talking to them. Where else can you see unicorn skulls, shrunken heads, and even a chupacabra? Only in Uranus! These freaks of nature will make your mind run wild with our strange , unusual sights. Check out our incredibly rare two-headed bull shark and the sweetest mighty python we know! Bring the family and explore our intriguing display.
Definitely something different to do and interesting. I've always been into slideshows and such, my family not so much but I think they all enjoyed it. Kat was awesome. She even swallowed a sword for us and gave us travel tips! So much fun. Go visit the fudge shop too. It was delicious
