We have just returned from another wonderful visit to Italy, this time the beautiful Sirmione. We wanted to be in Verona on Wednesday for the Elton John concert and we could only get flights to Venice for Tuesday. There are a few ways ti travel from Venice to Sirmione but we wanted a hassle free professional service to start our Italian break. My first contact with DMR was an email to Renzo who promptly replied with not only an extremely competitive price but lots of information of where to be and what to look for when we arrived in Venice airport which filled me with confidence from the start. Renzo collected us and was the perfect host making us feel very welcome and making the 1.5 hour journey feel effortless. Renzo then gave us a collection time for the return journey home where his colleague Fabio continued the friendly professional service back to Venice airport. I have no hesitation giving DMR full praise.. Well done guys!!

This E-bike journey starts from Possagno, the birthplace of the intriguing sculptor Antonio Canova, discovering the metamorphosis of the feminine shapes at Gypsoteque plasters collection. Riding the E-Bike, it's time you discover the land of the Queen of Cyprus, Caterina Cornaro. Once we reach Asolo, it's a pleasure discovering this ancient hamlet, surrounded and protected by its walls. This was a well known destination for writers, poets, artists and travellers from around the world. After a stop for lunch at a local restaurant, we will then visit Villa Barbaro, one of the greatest masterpieces of the superlative brilliance of Palladio, discovering the Portrait of the Ladies of Villa Maser by Paolo Veronese. Pedaling among the gentle slopes of the Asolo Hills, the landscape of vines tells the ancient vocation: in the local winery, a glass of sparkling Prosecco Superiore DOCG refreshes the tastes, before the last ride to Possagno. Finally, in Possagno it’s time come back in Vicenza.

What a fantastic experience! So much more than just an e-bike rental: you get curated routes, via an easy-to-use GPS system that hooks on to your bike, which takes you past places you would never see otherwise. We did the Palladian tour but, outside of Covid time, you can apparently do wine tours and all sorts of things that we will plan to do next year. But more generally, E-biking in this wonderful part of the world is the best way to see it. We happen to love Palladian architecture, so we felt very lucky to see his masterpieces throughout the countryside. But even if you just want to see a lot of beautiful country off the beaten track, this is the way to do it! and though we are not a sporty family, we got up mountains (and down them)! About the company: the service was great, bikes were totally easy to master, can’t say enough about it. Also you get to rent your bikes out of a Palladian villa. Unbelievable. Recommended!!

I have been to Venice before but wanted to show my wife the most of Venice in 3 days before we departed for our cruise. We had a limited time visiting Venice and decided on this tour rather than exploring on our own for the sake of time. This was a wonderful tour and highlighted the best of Venice. We really enjoyed the narration of the city and it's history. The boat ride was probably the highlight of the tour. It showed us many areas that tourist don't usually go to and we saw absolutely beautiful cathedrals and private homes. This tour was a no brainier and would recommended it to everyone.
