From the zodiac boot to Manzilla island to see the Magellan penguins , to the Beagle Chanel , Flat trees, Elephamt seals , Sea lions, to the museum of bones of sea animals. It was worth it. The day is spent in awe of the natural beauty of this world and nature.

The Prison at the End of the World,as a correctional facility was closed in 1947. This place is crammed with information, much of it also in English and is certainly worth spending a good couple of hours here. If you can't fit it all in on day one, get your ticket stamped and you can go back for free on the following day. Something for everyone here, which is high praise from me as I'm not a massive museum fan, but there are several aspects that may entertain those with different interests: - firstly the maritime section tells all about the great explorers setting off to Antartica from here and the likes of Darwin and Scott spending time here - then there is loads of stuff on the story of the prison and indeed prisons around the world (the museum itself is set in wings of the old prioson) - an art gallery and other exhibitions we ran out of time for Definitely worth the entry fee, well done

This small place is one of the most important collections in the world - with more than 2800 specimens of marine mammals. The fascinating collection of marine and birds that has been built over decades. Because of the unique geography, deceased animals get washed ashore nearby, so the animals weren't killed for the collection. The tour of the museum and the study department gave very special insights into local fauna and study/conservation efforts. The guides are both patient and knowledgeable. It was so interesting I visited twice (the Bone House is the smelly bit referenced in a previous review and you can skip that if you're not inclined to see what the bodies are like before they are the pristine bones one sees in the museum. I just took a brief look and it was enough for me. Don't let that put you off, this is a unique experience!)

The Artisan's fair of Ushuaia It’s constituted by a roofed gallery whit forty eight crafts stands with their respective artisans and their workshop, from different countries and converge in the southernmost city in the world. You can find a wide variety of processed products whit different and various raw materials and techniques, that is the result of many working hours with love. Don’t miss it!!

Built in 1903,this former bank,close to the port,contains exhibits on Fuegian natural history ,stuffed birdlife,photos of natives and early penal colonies,and replicas of moderate interest.Information is provided in Spanish with English translations.Guided visits are at 11am and 3:30pm.

The Old House of Government (Maipú 465) is a second seat of the End of the World Museum, whose Foundational House is located in Maipú 173. The Old House originally served as the residence of the Governor. Later, in different stages, it was the seat of Government, the first seat of the National Radio of Ushuaia, Police Headquarters, Territorial Legislature and Provincial Legislature.
