This was the fourth Streaty virtual cooking class I’ve taken and, like all the others, it was great fun and the results were a real wow. My husband and I couldn’t believe how well our cannoli turned out. Tasting them, we felt like we were back in Sicily. Marco and Daniela took us step-by-step through the process, sharing traditional techniques and tips – the kind of insider stuff you can’t get by just reading a recipe. It was very entertaining, too, plus good material is sent ahead of time, and it's easy to ask questions during class. We plan to make all the recipes again, and hope Marco offers more classes in future.

Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. Booked a Street Food Tour for our first evening in Palermo which turned out to be an excellent evening, extending for nearly four entertaining hours. Impressed with the tour administration which involved WhatsApp messages which provided details of our tour guide and meeting point. Our host was Arianna who an excellent communicator and provided many interesting details of the city and it's history. However the main driver was the food and Arianna took us to five varied and interesting food establishments all with different offerings, tastes and ambiences. Our favourites were Nni Franco u Vastiddaru (which revisited for a lunchtime snack latter in our stay in Palermo) and Antica Focceria San Francesco. Various interesting delicious delicacies were experienced including Pane Con La Milza, Arancina, Sfincione, Cannolo and of course Granita All in all a great tour with an informative guide which literateraly gave a great flavour of the city.

I recently had the pleadure of attending one of Fulvio's fabulous lunches here in the heart of Palermo. A glorious day spent exploring the markets for local healthy delicious food. Fulvio knew all the best places to buy the finest cheese. The finest vegetables, meat and wines. Once we had finished af the market we brought all the ingredients back to his welcoming and comfortable home and began cooking lunch. Fulvio is a fantastic guide and cook and under his supervision we prepared a starter of stuffed artichoke filled with garlic and a wonderful local green vegetable similar to spinach. Oil and lemon on top. Delicious. We cooked frittata and ate some perfectly cooked cauliflower. We then prepared a very sicilian pasta dish with cauliflower, raisins and breadcrumbs. Then we ate fish with a chilli garlic and lemon dressing. Divine.. we finished our meal off with tiramisu and some fine italian liquers and coffee. There was an abundance of wine and a delightful group of tourists from berlin, australia and siberia. The day was relaxed and sociable and very enjoyable. We were regaled with tales of sicilian life and Fulvio was the perfect host keeping us entertained and well fed and our wine glasses topped up. Highly recommend this course as a great introduction to sicilian cooking and getting to know a little more about the culture of this amazing city. Thank you Fulvio

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and being busy each night, the ambience was great. Lovely quirky surroundings too
