Things to do in Province of Milan, Lombardy: The Best Cultural Tours

June 29, 2021 Renato Branum

The Province of Milan (Italian: Provincia di Milano) was a province in the Lombardy region, Italy. Its capital was the city of Milan. The provincial territory was highly urbanized, resulting in the third highest population density among the Italian provinces with more than 2,000 inhabitants/km, just behind the provinces of Naples and the bordering Monza e Brianza, created in 2004 splitting the north-eastern part from the province of Milan itself. On January 1, 2015 it was replaced by the Metropolitan City of Milan.

We had a great time with Ben. A very gentle guy from London sharing with us his favourite adresses (churches, bar and restaurants) in Florence. We recommend the longer tour of 90min. This tour with golf cart allows to park very close to the different sights. This is a perfect way for a first panoramic tour in Florence. Ben is definitely a nice fellow!

This was the best part of our 1 month stay in Florence. Highly recommended. Alessandro was an exceptional guide who made history come alive and knew many facts. Knowing the history and fun facts made the trip very memorable. Alessandro and the driver were very professional and friendly. The cities we visited were so charming and fascinating that you can't help but wanting to come back. Since it was during the Covid pandemic there were only four guests on the tour. The timing on the tour was flawless, which enabled us to see so many places at once. Food and wine were also delicious at the beautiful farm with a wide view over the Tuscan hills and San Gimignano. Thanks for the great experience and your great care!

We booked the Underground Colosseum tour in March but then Italy was placed under covid19 restrictions & our trip was cancelled We cancelled our tour a week before it was supposed to happen and contacted the company to request a refund. The CEO Piotr replied and requested that we wait 3 months for our refund due to the financial impact that covid19 had taken on their business. As I work in the hospitality industry in Ireland, I understood their difficulties, so with great trust, we agreed to wait 3 months for our refund. 9 months later, several unanswered phone calls & emails later, I have to accept that we were conned and will never receive our money back. Avoid booking tours with this company as they are crooks!
